Welcome to Elementary Phys. Ed.
All about me:
My name is Holly Caprio and I have been teaching for 22 years. I have a B.S. in Health and Physical Education from Lock Haven University and a masters degree in Special Education from Bloomsburg University. I live in Millersburg with my husband, two sons, and dog Kyra.

Class Rules & Expectations:
- Wear proper gym clothing especially sneakers
- Listen to instructions
- Be safe at all times
- Treat everyone with respect
- Take care of all equipment
- Participate and have fun
Course Outline:
Physical Education class meets once in a six-day cycle for 45 minutes. The classes have a warm-up exercises section where they learn the values of daily physical fitness and the proper techniques to stretching and moving their bodies. The students are exposed to a variety of activities where they develop spatial awareness, gross motor skills, eye/hand coordination, throwing, kicking, and catching. The students participate in low organizational games and team games to develop cooperation, sportsmanship, respect for one another, playing fair, and following rules and directions.
