Spanish 3 2018-2019
This course is exclusively for students who have achieved an overall grade of 80% or better in Spanish 2.
This course will have students learning new vocabulary and grammar while simultaneously reviewing material learned from Spanish 1 and Spanish 2.
Students will read, write and converse in Spanish with target vocabulary and target grammar from each textbook chapter of Realidades 2. Students must bring their notebook, graphic organizer and a pencil to class each day. Graphic organizers will be given to students at the start of each chapter. Textbooks will be used daily and will remain in the classroom. Students will also be taught with workbooks, CDs and DVDs from the Realidades 2 textbook.
As per the student handbook, students have five school days to take any missed assessment. These assessments may be taken during study hall or before or after school.
Students may take an assessment again if they receive a grade lower than 75%. A maximum grade of 75% can be achieved on these assessments.
Students are able to access exercises and practice exams online from the Realidades 2 textbook.
